The location has an excellent location downtown, half a block from the ‘Legislature’, a park “plaza Guemes”, and three blocks from the Cathedral. Extremely safe area, with public transportation and a gas station across the street opened 24/7. The main museums are within a brief walking distance (Conoce Salta, Museo Guemes, Museo Arqueológico), all worth seeing. Lots of place to eat in the area. Street with “Peñas”, folklore...

"El hotel regular, las paredes descascaradas de la habitacion, la ropa de cama y toallas muy viejas y gastadas. Muy ruidoso daba a una galeria. El desayuno que decia ser continental fue cafe con leche, criollos y media luna, no habia fruta, ni cereales, ni quesos. "

Not sure if this is common with other hotels in Salta but the hotel key card have to be left behind with the hotel every time you leave, and they didn’t really check for our id when we came back to get our room key from a different staff, which is a bit of a security concern.
