Total nightly fee of EUR 90 EUR for a quick driving pit stop is very poor value compared to other road hotels in France and Italy within a day's drive, which were both cheaper and much nicer (room, beds, bathrooms, surrounding areas...) The area was mediocre, the hotel is in a 'food/restaurant desert', the doors could only be closed by slamming them which meant overnight each time...

"The couple who run the hotel were very pleasant and tried to be helpful but a great shame we couldn't access the internet anywhere in the hotel, or indeed in a brasserie on the town square. Room was an odd shape and rather cramped. Bathroom needed some refurbishment. Quiet and okay for an overnight stop. "This hotel was easy to find and although we speak no French the welcome was warm and helpful. This hotel is the old French style so is quite dark inside but there is a great terrace where an excellent meal was served. After we ordered our meal we received a small pre dinner canapé which we assumed was complimentary as all other tables were served with this treat as well. The next morning we noted it was on our account as petit dejeuner for 18 euro but the person behind the desk did not speak...
