Real shower heads with glass doors! Beds are firm, but that seems to be the norm in Greece for moderate priced rooms. "Perfect location near the cobblestoned village with cute stores and cafes all around. The decor is beautiful and elegant. Everything is clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and very friendly and polite staff. Good wifi connection. The free bike rentals need some love. Half of them need air in the tires or their brakes fixed. "This property is all about location, location, location. The setting is spectacular, on a private beach and with magnificent views. Very nice pool area. 15 min walk to Gaios, where you can catch the boat to Antipaxos and find plenty of restaurants, shops… Rooms are small and tired and feel more like 3 stars, they could certainly do with a renovation but, in a setting like this, you don’t want to spend too much time in the room anyway! "Great location but hotel needs work. Stayed 3 nights, pool was green the whole time. On our departure it was cleaned whilst there were young children swimming in it everyday. We saw a lizard in our bathroom and a piece of marble was glued under the toilet bowl, glue had gone yellow spread all over the floor so it looked like someone had leaked on the floor. Air con did not work properly either and breakfast was average. I would not recommend this place."

"Kalypso Studios is well run; the staff are very friendly and helpful and booked our transfer to the airport and booked a tour for us. Air conditioning worked well and room was clean, property has pool with bar and place for some food. Kavos, apparently place for young British teens and Kalypso is off the beaten path yet close to shops, clubs and what Kavos has to offer. "
