"Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

"This lodge is located off the beaten track. It takes about 20 min to get here from Mindo on a narrow dirt road. The accommodation is basic but nice. Staff is small but very attentive. My cabin was spacious with one queen sized bed and three single beds (two of them in a loft). Nature around the lodge is beautiful."

"The couple here is very nice and very much want you to have a nice stay. Unfortunately, the accommodations are not ideal and not worth how much I spent. There is not much privacy and the food is good but too expensive and there aren't any other food options nearby. There is no pool so I don't know why they put that on the Hotels.com site. Again, the couple here is very nice and the location is pretty."

"The one big plus about this property is the dinning area. Here you can see all kind of birds including tucans. What I didn’t like about this property: -the treehouse is cool, I like the experience but it definitively need some maintenance. It is the most expensive room they offer and the worst one. There was a whole in my wall, the mosquitos ate me alive every night (I was using bug spray, it was just not enough) and they say they have hot water… well they don’t, so welcome freezing showers....

"Pésimo hotel, nos dejaron solos toda la noche sin ningún funcionario del hotel. A las 8 am sed suponía estaba el desayuno y no había nadie. La habitación son tres cañas y un baño, no hay closet, agua caliente o señal de celular. Pésimo hotel, caro y sin nada de servicio "
