"Hotel La Plaza is an interesting hotel because if its decor. The receptionist was delightful and had taken heed of my email prior to arrival as to choice of room. Parking on the road is not so bad at weekends as the health centre opposite the hotel is closed, but during working hours (8 am to 9 pm) you are not allowed to park. The risk is that your car will be towed away and you will be fined, so pay careful attention to the notices."

"One night stop, service, I do not say friendly, but proper and effective. The room was no luxury, but clean and everything worked as should. TV and Aircon. Street noise was not to hear but some noise from other rooms was present. Parking outside free of charge but indoor parking (very safe) bit pricey."

But BANG LOUDLY on the gate when you first arrive otherwise you'll be sleeping in the car park. When we checked out on the last day, we were in a hurry to catch our train and the staff helped us call a cab. She was very helpful.
