"Have not stayed here for several years. It has improved a lot since our last visit! Excellent reception employees. Hotel is now surrounded with a well designed and pleasant looking security fence. New paint. The hallway has new carpet and light fixtures which much improves the ambiance. Although these rooms are not fancy, nor do they have carpeting, they have freshened up the decor and they are clean. Excellent value for the cost as well. Will be staying here in the future while in the Arcata...

"Rooms, convenience, staff, breakfast were all great. Only reason I didn’t give five stars was that our room backed the street where trucks park for the night. They come and and go early and it’s very noisy. It’s nobody’s fault, but I would suggest getting a room that isn’t next to that street"
