"The place is conveniently located in relation to the places we intended to visit. It is clean and well-maintained. There no establishments around but the hotel has an in-house restaurant and breakfast is included. Take note that there are no elevators so request for a first floor room if you have mobility issues. "The setting of Batad Pension is unbelievably beautiful. It’s worth the trek in to spend the night there and really enjoy Batad. In addition, the owner is lovely and warm, cooks lovely food, and goes out of her way to be helpful to her visitors. I highly recommend Batad Pension and Restaurant"

"The staff was very attentive. Due to a food allergy there was a need for special food preparation. Do to a miscommunication There was a mishap in the kitchen, however the staff took ownership and special precautions to ensure guests safety. It did take over an hour and a half to get a food order for 5. Under normal circumstances, this would not have been concerning except for we had traveled a great distance that day and hadn’t stopped for food."

"Staff did not communicate with each other. I just checked in on my room when an old lady opened my door and went inside. It turns out, the old lady was a guest that checked out 2 hours ago but claimed she forgot something in the room. It seemed like they gave her a key card to access the room. They let someone have access to my room after I was checked in. Thankfully I was inside the room- who knows what that old lady would have done. My privacy and safety was at risk.
