"The property, the location and the staff made this stay spectacular. I was welcomed with a 20 minute delayed check in which was not something you expect after paying over $1K USD. There were other minor issues which you would think would be non existent at a 5 star hotel but I had to deal with, thats not good! The views of the Saiq valley are breathtaking, SubhanAllah. "

"This is without doubt one of the best hotels we've ever been to. Large, spacious, stylish rooms with all the amenities. Grounds that extend for miles with fabulous canyon views. The pool area is fantastic. A great range of included on-site activities - we had a great time at Sujith's mocktail masterclass, and the female guide who led the stargazing and geology walk (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) was so good. "Nice restored building, great location, close to the market and fort. However, the reception was rude and inefficient. They insisted I'd pay for my stay, even though I showed them it was already paid on Expedia. No effort was done to check or address my concerns. In addition the room description and pictures are misleading - you will be getting a small room with a shower so small it is right over the toilet."
