"I traveled to Alaska to watch our two great friends complete the HOKA HEY Challenge. A motorcycle ride from Key West to Homer. I brought the wives to see them across the finish line. Once there they just wanted to relax and recover, this location was perfect to do so, yet close enough to Homer to enjoy everything that Alaska has to offer. Great location, great host, great times. "I have been going to Anchor River for many years and welcome Angry Salmon Restaurant which has recently opened in the old location of the famous Anchor River Inn. They have also opened and remodeled the motel units across the street. So if you need comfortable accommodation near the River and Homer for a very reasonable price. Check out this place.
