"Central, no fuss self booking / arrival. Unaware when booking is a late night pub/ club alight noise was not that bad with ear plugs. Room lovely bar the strong dam smell. Luckily I had lavender oil to hand."

"Great hosts who were very friendly and informative. stayed 1 night in this beautiful old building full of character. Bedroom lovely bed very comfy with a beautiful shared bathroom ..luckily we were the only guests so had it to ourselves. Would have preferred a lock on our bedroom door especially if the other rooms had been full. "

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"We had a lovely weekend at the wonderful place. The yurt was so cosy and the log burner inside kept it really warm. The whole place was set in a woodland and each yurt had its own private area and firepit area which was great for sitting and enjoying the surroundings. The surrounding trails in the forest were magical and everything was highly eco friendly which was great to see. The fresh duck and chicken eggs to buy were especially delicious. A top find!"

"Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. "My son and I had a lovely couple of nights at the lodge. The park was peaceful and beautiful with all the trees around. My son enjoyed using the pool and the playground. The lodge was well equipped with plenty of plates, cups, pans, cutlery etc. Bedding and towels are charged extra, which I didn’t realise until after booking, but worth it for not having the hassle of making up beds.
