The hotel clerk gave us excellent advice to take the scenic train from the station across the street which was a wonderful experience. He also showed us a scenic drive through the wine country with a detour to a lookout point which was breathtaking. "Good value for money hotel in Douro wine region. Little town from where you can discover the surrounding hills, viewpoints and Douro. Rooms were clean, decent and had proper bathroom."
