"We were sadly down for a family funeral so this venue was the perfect location as we could walk next door to the funeral home. Although dated the room was clean and tidy and very quiet. The Staff were lovely and friendly. The highlight was Pickles the Cockatoo who is clearly dearly loved by all staff. He cheered us up after some very sad days and for that we were very grateful. Would definitely stay here again."

"Found this place after all the usual hotels were either full or very expensive. Located up an alley near Cuba mall. The outside does not present very well, as well as being an earthquake prone building. The door is straight off the street,so not a great start. Once inside the apartment is spacious and comfortable. It's quiet as well. Would be a good place to stay for a longer period in the city."
