"This is easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Vermont! The room was huge—bigger than a studio apartment—with a full kitchen, cable TV, and a great view. My stay was super last minute due to a snowstorm, but the staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating. "The place is beautiful with river running behind property with several fire pit. Property does sell fire wood so no need to try to look for stores who has them. I would definitely recommend to use the fire pit, the scenery is gorgeous but be careful especially during fall theres lots of dry leaves around the pits that may catch fire. "My room was very cozy. I was there on a holiday weekend in January so I knew there would be no service and no breakfast. That is not available from Oct. til April. There are large windows in the room and it was January so I was cold. Very cold even with the thermostat turned up to 73, but I don't think they could have done anything. The candy store on site is AMAZING!!!! The staff there super nice."
