"We loved our six night stay at Hotel Tshuggen and Grindelwald. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We had a room on the first floor with a balcony and a beautiful view out to Mt Eiger. It was a short walk to the train station which gave us access to most of the attractions and ski fields, and a short walk in the opposite direction to FirstBahn. "This hotel was beautiful! We had a car, which made it easy to get to. There was a bus station at the bottom of the hill if you don't have a car. Stephanie, our hostess, was so nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The restaurant was closed for dinner the two nights we were there during the week. I would recommend this place if you want an excellent view of the ALPS."

"We stayed here on our way to Basel for New Years and it was a quaint little hotel near a skiing hotspot. The fog in the area was quite thick so we unfortunately couldn’t take in the beauty of the area. The breakfast was rather limited compared to other places we stayed and parking was across the street in a shopping plaza lot but close enough not to be inconvenient. There were only a couple of restaurants that were open nearby and most people were in town for the skiing. Sad we couldn’t take one...

"Cute, clean hotel. Owners Nadia and Thomas are incredibly warm and hospitable. Located on the main shopping street in Engelberg. Easy walk to the train station and ski lift. Also very accessible bus service to the lifts. "
