"I love the restoration and renovation work the new owners have done. I originally stayed at the Gadsden back in December 2013 and just stayed for a second time in March 2025. There was a dramatic improvement! I'm happy that this grand hotel is being taken care of. That being said -- there is one area for improvement. "The room was small, perfect for 2 people. Very little noise from the street/other guests. The bed was very comfortable compared to other hotels out there and the bedding was super insulated which trapped a good amount of warmth so beware if you run hot at night. The only thing I wish the room had was a mini fridge to store leftovers from some of the eateries around town. There was a microwave in the lobby area so it would have been nice to be able to keep something cool and then heat it up...
