"Everything was fine but was hit with a stink of a kids locker room when we walked into our room. The internet was down the first night and no cell service to find another motel. They did not have another room to accommodate us."

" This is my favorite place to stay. I have been staying here since the early 2000s and have stayed at least 10 times (if not more). The Inn is beautifully and meticulously restored keeping with the time-period of the building but adding modern conveniences such as excellent water pressure, comfortable beds, and many other amenities. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I recommend the Mercantile Inn to everyone I know. "
