"The amazing parts of my stay: -The customer service was fantastic! The front desk lady upgraded us to a suite with a kitchen since we were staying two nights, and gave some great food recommendations. -The room was really big and had been visibly updated. Pretty much everything in there was new, and it was so clean. -The kitchen in the suite was a great surprise! It came in very handy. -The room was a great price! The things that would have made it better: -It needs a couch or a comfortable...

"The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. However, the hotel does need upgrading when compared to the Holiday Inn Express next door. The area did seem sketchy so don’t park in the back of the hotel. The lady at check in made the stay memorable with her hospitality and conversation. "

"The lodge is well located on a main route. Access was a breeze with an easy access code option to enter, so no need to check in at reception. The room has everything you need from TV, coffee, shower, fresh towels and toiletries. Will definitely stay here on my next visit. Absolute value for money!!"

"The curtains didn’t fit the room, the parking lot is small, and the frig froze. But it’s a nice location very close to downtown. The staff is super nice and they allow dogs. Beds are comfortable and it was very clean, although older. "

" This is my favorite place to stay. I have been staying here since the early 2000s and have stayed at least 10 times (if not more). The Inn is beautifully and meticulously restored keeping with the time-period of the building but adding modern conveniences such as excellent water pressure, comfortable beds, and many other amenities. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I recommend the Mercantile Inn to everyone I know. "

"Clean, bright home. Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of towels… Only suggestion that we have, since there really isn’t a yard to play in, is for there to be access to the garage. Maybe with a ping pong table, scooters, trikes, etc. Otherwise, great stay. "
