"Very good food and drink at very reasonable price. Used mostly by locals and very busy at times and good atmosphere, if you don’t speak Spanish have translate on phone. There is nothing really within walking distance as it’s in an industrial area but a large car repair and tyres within 1/4 mile."

"This was a convenient functional stop for a Bilbao ferry the next morning. (Approx 2hrs) The guesthouse adjacent to the bar/cafe was warm and clean, well kept no-frills accommodation and served the purpose. There’s an ample parking area next to the bar & guesthouse when you turn off the main road, although it is not private. "It is a very small family run hotel, only 5 rooms. Easy for Santillana del Mar. Off road parking. Great view from bedroom. Very nice owner. But the big advantage is a comfortabe bed and absolute quiet. I slept through to the alarm at 8, considering i am typing this at 4.00 am in my next hotel shows just how unusual it is to sleep that long!"
