"This is classed as a budget hotel, but overall I’d give this 5 stars - the staff are by far the best I’ve met, Gaetano on reception was exceptional, helpful, approachable and knowledgeable. We were even given a what’s app number if we got into difficulty/lost etc ! Housekeeping was also very good. The hotel lobby & staircase remains authentic which is really pleasing. "Everyone at the Ascot was very friendly and helpful. There is one staff member who speaks perfect English and another who speaks French very well. The AC in the room worked well, and there was a good amount of food for a continental breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the place is near several restaurants. I would stay here again. "
