"Was difficult just entering the hotel, had to wait for front desk. Front desk not welcoming and helpful (owner who was very kind and there at check out was absent and replaced by a family member). Instructions for parking were incomplete. Very poor wifi. "

"Really nice one. Peacefull and well mainted. i arrive after midnigh and leave early in the morning and i was easily arrange everithing with them. Bed was perfect and i rest very good. Room is clean, towels are nice and I am very satisfied."

"Characterful but basic Chalet hotel. Perfect base for walking. The owner was a fantastic host - he explained the evening meal (local produce, excellent and cooked by his wife) in great detail.He also explained the available wines and, of course, the history of Chatreause. As we were leaving the next morning, he insisted we drive to the end of the valley before we continued South - wow! It was really worth it with stunning mountain scenery."

"A friend and I stayed in this hotel for two nights. After the first night, we were asked to leave our key at the desk so that housekeeping could get into the room. When we got back to the hotel at the end of the day, the woman at the desk could not find our key. She used the master key to enter our room and found another girl in the room - along with our wallets, passports, and all of our belongings. We were very disappointed by the lack of security and carelessness about our possessions and...

"Caters for car/bike travellers, everything you need, I would say, away from the hotels influence, the church bell rings on the hour, not sure what time it keeps through the night, but it did wake me up. Otherwise brilliant."
