"This is typical of the edge of town lodge accommodation found throughout France. Access was difficult as reception was unmanned when I arrived and I did not have the code. Had to use the help point. "This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable.
