"Great location about 2 blocks from the main downtown street of this quaint fishing town. The staff were friendly but not entirely familiar with services supposedly offered (i.e. stamps and post services). The room was large and clean, and comfortable albiet spartanly furnished, with huge windows. However the curtains were far from black-out, and let in a fair amount of light. Also, sounds carried quite far with all the hard surfaces, and you could hear people walking and talking in the...

"There is a lot of renovation going on at Reykjanes, but mostly that's on the exterior and doesn't affect the interior or your comfort in anyway. Don't let the exterior view of the building put you off. The place has an interesting history and they're building for the future. The small peninsula on which the hotel is located is interesting in itself with a salt factory, "hot beach", and of course the large hot pool. The setting and the views are pure Westfjords. It's a breathtaking one hour....or...

"The Manager was very helpful and he gives us a lot of information on the area. He even come to our room to inform us of the northern light that night. Very pleasant stay. "
