"If like me and a first timer, please read. I had a lot of anxiety because i didn’t know anything. This place is in perfect location to shopping, restaurants and Acropolis/Parthenon. There was a sweet young Lady, named Despina who greeted us and was very helpful over the next few days. If you are trying to figure out where to stay, stop, you found it. The carpets in the rooms needs replacing and the toilet flushes are by far not strong enough. Only one socket in the room available near the bathroom. It was ok for the money paid!"

"Ares Athens Hotel provided a mostly comfortable stay for my friend and I this weekend. The beds were a little hard, but from the amount we walked everyday, we fell right asleep every night. The rooms were mostly clean except for finding hairs on the sheets and on the blankets. The location, although a little sketchy at night, was a very short walk to all of the tourist attractions and very good food. The cleaning service was great and the staff was very friendly. "I usually stay by the Acropolis in Athens but wanted a peaceful, quiet Christmas stay and was given room 103 as was upgraded free in the true spirit of Christmas . The male receptionist is extremely friendly and his English language is excellent. I was given a large comfortable room to relax inside and breakfast was even served on Christmas and Boxing Day, the boiled eggs weee yummy and plenty of cereals and cheese to cater for my pescatarian diet .
