"Lovely historic hotel in the heart of the city. Parking was very tricky (as noted by another reviewer) and made more difficult with the Christmas market. However, the hotel staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. Our room was a suite with separate living area and bed. The bathroom was modern and well appointed. Excellent location!"

Two things to help improve: 1 curtains need to be more black out as the lights from the street illuminate the entire room; 2. luggage that is left needs to be secure and not left in the lobby. "The hotel is inside the walled city, right next to the basilica. As no car is allowed to drive to the castle, the hotel offers a free shuttle to pick/drop you to the parking lot where you get in/off the taxi. The hotel has a lot of history but the condition itself needs some maintenance. The view from the hotel is unbeatable and the staff are super friendly. Overall is a very nice stay. Remember to book a taxi before arrival "
