"Very clean, nicely upgraded rooms and dining area. Nice staffs. Quiet and nice neighborhood. I was arriving around at 11:30 PM was little hard to find the hotel being first time at the town. Breakfast was good, there seems to be no better eatery in the neighborhood. I enjoyed staying at the hotel! "

The hoetl is a bit 'tatty' but the room was clean and the bed comfotable, a good shower and the air conditioning in one of the rooms was brilliant. In the other room we had booked it wasn;t working an the hotel staff said they would try to get it fixed but nothing was sorted, or a change of room offered. Overall, if you just want something with no frills and don't mind staying in a hotel that is in desperate need of redecoration, then you...

"Booked this hotel as it had a restaurant right next door to it.. but it had shutdown not the end of the world as walked to the next one but overall very good hotel"

"The staff was extremely concerned with our well being and have offered a very nice commercial gesture to compensate for the lack of hot water in our room. Our room faced the city of Gien and the view was really great. One just have to walk accross a bridge to reach the interesting sidewalk with restaurants on the other side of the Loire. I prefer that view (Castle of Anne de Beaujeu) from the one the hotels on the other side of the rriver would have. Highly recommended hotel."

"This hotel is very convenient for Briare train station with excellent trains into Paris daily. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds are lovely, with lots of parkland and trees."
