"We had a great time at Bahia Principe Grand Samana. We liked that the resort is small and intimate, food was decent for an all-inclusive and staff was friendly. Resort is a bit old but well maintained and clean overall. On the other end, we found the beach being rather small, not enough chairs and palapas for all guests, and very close to the road causing noise. We would return and recommend to friends and family looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation."

"Massive, well-appointed apartment in a bizarre hotel built to look like two ocean liners, that sits above a shopping plaza. Enormous bed. Masses of drawers and storage space. Good sized safe. Excellent fully fitted kitchen with giant fridge. Weak security on the Wi-Fi but the apartment has a high quality TV with streaming services. There is an outdoor bath on the balcony but there was never enough hot water to fill it. Two rooftop pools are the better option instead. The hotel is very close to...
