"30 minutes before trying to check in at HomeGate Hotel in Louisville, I made reservation online to speed up check in. This was well after normal check in time around 7 pm. We had a service animal with us. We were informed that there would be a $500 extra charge as well as the $100 cleaning fee. I explained that the dog is registered. The manager was very rude when I tried to explain that the ADA covers service animals without extra charges. Never got key and was told he could not refund money because Hotels.com made reservation.
