"This was about the fourth time I've stayed at the Dav-Ed. As usual my room was immaculate. This is a classic one-level motel probably from the 1950s but is thoroughly up-to-date. Wifi is good, everything works, everything is clean and in excellent condition (fridge, microwave, TV.) Due to recent back surgery I booked the handicap accessible room (Room 1) which had a totally renovated bathroom, wide bathroom doorway, ramp to front door. The only problem with the room was its proximity to the road...

"This was a great place in a great location. Very clean and comfortable. There is a short walk to the shore of Lake Erie, though with some steep stairs--but that's all part of the shoreline on this part of the lake. The place is also close to both Ashtabula and Geneva on the Lake, but very quiet--at least in March. We would certainly love to return!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this home. The house was very clean and the host was quick to respond. Kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. Short walk to the lake at the end of Bass Dr. which was the perfect place to watch the sunset! Our kids had such an amazing time on this fishing trip. We would highly recommend this home!"

"This was a new listing, and i finally did have communication with the owner about items that wrre not tgere, that we take for granted: no chest of drawers for clothes, one tiny utility stand in each bedroom. There was only 1 set of dishes- 4 plates/bowls/cups, but NO drinking glasses. And no lamps, only overhead kights with bright Edison bulbs. I think/hope these items are supplied.
