"Perfect location for visiting Wilmington. The area outside of the hotel was cute, but a lot of empty storefronts and closed businesses. There are church bells that go off at random times and for long periods of time. One morning we counted 42 very loud dings. No fault of the General Denver of course. Their staff at the front desk and restaurant were awesome and both hotel and restaurant were nice. If I go back to Wilmington, this is the only place I would stay!"

"It wasn't terrible. It was clean enough and had the very basics. The pictures make it seem bigger and cuter. This is a tiny motel. The main problem I had was that the door pushed back open slightly so it didn't close tight. It was latched, but cold air was pouring in. The heating unit was accurate as it was clearly not the 72 degrees I set it at but it would shut off. Smaller complaint, there was only two pillow and the pillows were different. The bed frame was for a king and they had a queen in it, so the bedside tables were too far away from the bed."
