"This is a very neat little inn, with the original downstairs house portion dating back to the 1790s and the inn dating back to the 1890s. At the very bottom level is a lively tavern. The room was comfortable if small, which is to be expected at a place like this. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and a very friendly staff. "

"The staff was friendly and very helpful. We did have a discrepancy in the number of days we paid for through our 3rd party vs what the hotel had us booked for, but they worked with us and got everything straightened out without a lot of hassle. The room was very clean. The bathroom and hallway did smell of sewer which was unpleasant but it was very clean so am unsure where the smell came from. Check in was super easy as our room key was just sitting on a table when we walked in the door, with our room number on it (makes me wonder if there was another key already taken by a random person). The staircase was steep, narrow and STRAIGHT UP!! Wasn’t expecting that!! Glad we are not handicapped, as this was mentioned nowhere! Room was clean and comfortable, even had our own fireplace. "This condo was perfect for a Stowe fall getaway. We could easily walk to everything downtown Stowe and even walked to restaurants further away from downtown to avoid the traffic. It was great to have a full kitchen to make breakfast every morning too. This space was much larger than we were expecting given the photos, which was just a bonus. Would recommend to anyone, "
