"Central location. Excellent character and standards inside the room. Access was up two flights of stairs. Despite having space, the room lacked an armchair for watching television, etc., and there was nowhere to put a suitcase except on the bed or floor. I did not use the breakfast arrangement, which was at 'The Olive Branch' a large pub about 200 yards away. Easy parking."

I did have to wait outside a little, as the instructions on how to enter aren’t quite that easy to understand, but only a couple of minutes and I was greeted. "Really nice stay , very warm and cosy overnight. No pub open or food available, but great price for my stay."

"Great friendly service, good room with a lovely bay window overlooking the sea. Small touches really help, like bottle opener in room etc. Breakfast was hearty and offered smoked mackerel as a choice, as well as the cooked breakfast."
