"I paid a premium for the water view, and it was worth every minute of it. My only suggestion would be that the place spend some money updating the interior hallways with new flooring and paint, the stairwells should be rubber, coated, and railing repainted, the rooms went to a laminate flooring, which is noisy. It would be better to go to a luxury vinyl tile flooring in the suite would be better suited with a table and some chairs for dining. The pool area and beach area are worth staying here...

"This hotel is old and run down. The bathroom is tiny, no sink space, back and forth stair climbs, 1 old chair on the creaky patio. Price gouge you at the restaurant and bar. Double charged my credit card for the room and then wont pick up the phone. Its a vampire motel w a nice ocean view. Stay somewhere else!"

"Small room tucked in back with little view. However it was quiet and comfortable. Even with music and people staying late at the on-site bar and restaurants. Plenty of eating options nearby. Always a treat when you are within walking distance of the beach! We enjoyed renting electric bikes, the Oceanography Center and the NavySeals Museum."
