"I had the double room. It is very basic, a bed, a small table with 2 chairs, 2 bedside tables, a bin, a mirror on the wall and some hooks for hanging clothes. The bed was very comfortable, you can adjust the heating to your liking so my room was always comfortably warm. The shared toilet facilities on my floor (3rd floor) were great...clean and always stocked. I cannot comment on food or the showers as I did not use those options. "This is a gorgeous spot to stay. I loved the the hot tub, and our room was quite comfortable. There was limited options for dinner for us, as the vegetarian option wasn't available, but they were great to make something up for us. Would recommend this place. "

"If I could give them 8 stars out of 5 I would. This place is a gem. The owners are so welcoming and helpful and the guesthouse (which the owner designed) is beautiful. So beautifully decorated and warm and homey. The breakfast was perfect. HOMEMADE BREAD! and so many other choices. A perfect Icelandic breakfast. We are so happy we stayed there two nights. By far this was the best place we stayed at in Iceland!"
