It makes sense to locate first or last nights close to airport with early or late flights since Colombo is a long way from its international airport. There is no suitable public transport to or from the airport into Colombo other than Uber. This hotel has a respectable bar and restaurant attached which is handy since not much is in the local area. "We'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Negombo. It's in a perfect location for exploring and had a great pool which was an added bonus. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We could walk into Negombo to the local restaurants and cafes and it was a perfect start to our holiday. "Very friendly owners, arrived at night there was heavy rain but got picked up from the airport promptly. Because of the weather event I couldn’t go out for dinner so they offered to prepare something to eat for me. The room is basic but clean and for the price excellent value. "

"Het hotel heeft geen lift! Er is veel achterstallig onderhoud, diverse zaken werken niet, bv. airconditioning, warmwatervoorziening, waaiers, lekkende douchecabines. De ligbedden bij het zwembad bestaan deels uit verrot hout, hetgeen gevaarlijk is. De financiële afrekening gebeurt nog op 19e eeuwse wijze (losse bonnetjes, een rekenmachientje) en de receptionisten spreken zeer slecht Engels. Kortom: een upgrade is dringend nodig."
