"The deposit was not previously displayed before selecting the hotel, it would have been nice to prepare by having the amount of cash on hand to cover it before arriving. They offer an ATM machine in the lobby but for some reason only allowed $40 to be withdrawn at a time.- it’d take 3 transactions to cover the deposit with a minimum of $12.00 in bank fees. 0 stars for that part only. "

"Everything was good but the room wven though was a nonsmoke room it had a cigarette smell. Besides that the people on front desk were really kind and helpful"

"Good price for our purpose. Free Parking, good breakfast. Hotel was a bit dated but it was kept up as well as possible. Staff was kind but didn’t really know the ins and outs of the area. One example we asked about the process to visit Canada-the staff on that day “didn’t know”. Come to find out there was a tunnel/bridge practically directly across the street! I never knew Detroit was across the narrow lake from Canada."

"The entrance and check in was fine. The front desk person was informative and easy to work with. The problems were once I got to my room. There was no trash cans in the room. The toilet paper was sitting on the sink. The holder was missing the rod. The shower curtain rod was not flexed outwardly. Instead if was bowing downward. The tub looked gross. I pulled the sheets back on the beds and found random small pieces of stuff. The TV remote was missing the back to hold in the batteries. ...

"The room itself was very nice, pleasantly so. The Hotel itself was located by the airport so the surroundings weren't vacation quality, but it was clean and safe. My only knock on the place was they advertised it as including breakfast, which was not on site but took the form of a coupon for a local restaurant. We were there to go fishing so having to load up and go somewhere else for breakfast would have taken to much time. It just would have been nice to get the whole scoop before we arrived....

"Extended Stay Auburn Hills is an very good hotel. The ladies are so sweet, Lynn is awesome. I love her personality. The ladies have great hospitality, and they are very nice people! The room is great! Housekeeping is awesome as well. Jawanna and the newest Housekeeper are very sweet as well. Overall, the hotel have good people, it's quiet, clean, and people say to themselves!"
