"Great stay. Me, my husband and our 17 yr old son stayed and there was plenty of room. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bedding was cozy. The staff was friendly. Especially the nice lady that was handling breakfast the next morning. So friendly and the breakfast was hot and fresh. Lots of variety for breakfast. Our son was on his way to the military school and we will be visiting several more times in the next few months. Will definitely stay again. "

"This is a very clean and comfortable place at a great price point. The best thing is the really sweet couple running the place. It's an old property but for the price it is safe, clean and what you need for a couple good nights of sleep. I came here for a marathon in Shiner so it was a good location. It's near HEB and a few interesting towns like Luling and Gonzalez on the fringe of hill country. "

Suggestion on bathroom light; fan comes on with the light. If you want the bathroom light on at night, so you can see where you’re going, the fan coming on, too, makes too much noise. Might want to give each feature their own switch. "
