"Alora is a bustling little town nestled on a hill and the room I had overlooked the old Moorish fort on the adjoining hill. Beautiful ! The hotel was basic but spotlessly clean and the owners Paco and Monica were lovely. And great value for the single traveller "

"Super basic, as you would expect for the price. Outside the hotel was a mess by the bins. Service basic/non existent. You pay for what you get here. Noisy right next to main motorway. Water in the shower came out of the pipe not the shower head."

"We arrived late and left at 8.30am so we didn’t have time to fully use the hotel, lovely balcony off our room, very clean, very quiet. We tried to get breakfast but it wasn’t open yet and we didn’t have time before having to walk to the train station. "

We did pay for a parking space that didn't exist (it was full and we had to squeeze the Aygo in a bike space most nights) which wasn't ideal. Units are much smaller than they appear in the photos but are new and clean. Shower was great! Staff were really easy to communicate with via the Whatsapp channel to answer any queries.
