"My stay was very good no real complaints. I was skeptic about staying here due to some reviews I read but took a chance just the same and I was glad I did. Area was close to a lot of stuff..room was clean bed was comfortable and bathroom was in good enough condition. The only thing was when I first entered the room it had a slight smell but other than that everything was good."

Since its establishment in 1929 by Dr. Joel Watkins, Fresh Air Barbecue has served millions of barbecue sandwiches to the traveling public, from all over the United States. The menu is very simple with on BBQ, Brunswick Stew and Cole Slaw. Fresh Air Barbecue is known for having one of the shortest menus of any restaurant around. Cole slaw is one of the few major items that have been added to it in the last 80 years.
