"It was a great place to stay. Lots of food options and stores walking distance. Check in was extremely fast, and the girls to front desk was very friendly and personable. I was driving from Long Beach to Sacramento. "Asked for a ground floor room, away from street noise and we got it! This is a superior property, with good customer service. We'll stay here rather than properties further down the 5. We've stopped staying at several Motel 6 properties (Carlsbad, Button Willow, Oceanside) because of bad treatment and maintenance issues. I always call to confirm a ground floor room, for we senior citizens, and when one of us gets there, they haven't honored the written or verbal request. Or their promise!...

"I try and stay in Los Banos on my way up or down I-5. It's such a cute charming town that no one knows about. It's about 10 minutes off I-5 so I guess most people just drive on thru. And this motel is the best! Charming historic architecture inside and out, beautiful potted plants everywhere, and very nice owners.And so far, still quite affordable. Be sure to check out the "old town" just a few blocks from the motel."

"Even though the sign on office door said OPEN you have to stand out in the cold and try to communicate through a little glass window (I checked in at 4:30 pm not a late or after hours check in. Bedding was very thin, TV channels extremely poor and tv was held into place by a toilet paper roll!? Bathroom walls are dirty with holes in the wall, there were men outside carrying on after quiet hours but Management did nothing in regards to their noise or behavior.
