"Nice little place with alot of old touches. Motel was nuilt on 1951 so we enjoyrd some of the rustic touches. We were there for a concert, so only slept there but it was worth the cost. "

"So, this is a very old property. That said, it is very well-maintained. I am of the mindset why not stay in a room that has knotty pine walls and mid Century modern furniture than the usual cookie cutter hotel. Parking is directly in front of your room door. It is 20 feet to walk to the lake front. It is a very nice walk up and down the lakeshore. There are geese and other water birds fishing in the morning, people with their dogs running along the shallows. Just the sort of vibe I want...

"It was very peaceful & quiet there - we come up here snowmobiling around Drummond Island, so this is isn’t too far from there - loved the northern atmosphere within the cabin decor! Will come back!"
