"The hotel location was perfect as far as distances between major cities. The staff were so helpful, courteous and friendly offering suggestions for sightseeing and eating. The rooms were very clean with plenty of space. The breakfast choices were excellent and they offered to make eggs any style if preferred. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I come back to Portugal "

"This is located at prime location, right next to the cp.pt Coimbra-A train station. This is so great! The property has been run by a team/family very proud of their job. Think about the whole street front facing building you own! Staff is super friendly snd helpful. The property is old and updated to modern. I did not check for Wi-Fi. There is no tea kettle to boil water for tea but the are enough cafes right downstairs : ) This is Coimbra, you really got to be here while traveling to...

"The place is good enough for the price but, the rooms have no mosquito netting on the windows so you can't sleep with the window open. We got badly bitten in the night by mosquitos and there is no aircon as expected for the price, the room did not even have a fan. We went home a day early because we did not want another night. "

Check in code didn't work until we were given a new one. - Upon arrival, we were allotted a single room instead of two, and bed sizes were incorrect. - There were no toiletries. When I communicated to Ana, I was asked " why I didn't tell all these things to the cleaning person" when I had the chance. That is not my job nor theirs.
