"The facilities were great, especially with the gym. There was a very small pool but a decent sized hot tub. At about 9.15 am the pool filled up with all the locals who had come to hang out. Quite humourous to see them all bobbing about in the water! There were lots of pieces of gym equipment, it was actually very well equipped. "It's a three star hotel not a five star. It's old and creaky, but the staff are wonderful, good food, superb location and clean, neat and very attentive/helpful staff. If you want luxury triple your investment and travel 15 miles from the city center. But for me, it was quite quaint. I will go there from now on."

"Very simple check in. Room fresh and clean with very comfortable bed. Quiet location with a restaurant next door if you need to eat. Continental breakfast to set you up for your day. The bathroom towels were a bit on the small side but not really an issue. Altogether a great option to stop off on a drive to Spain. "

Member of staff showed extreme kindness to elderly couple whose booking was not on her computer and sorted it all out for them- excellent service."
