"When I first pulled up to the property I was unimpressed, though I'd read the positive reviews. It's an older property, in an old part of town. It's simply one long building of two stories, with exterior entrances, like many old motels. Nothing particularly remarkable about it, and the sign, as I recall, is pretty rundown. "My wife booked this for me for a two night stay on my way home from Quartzite. She likes to book quirky little place, and this was for sure that. Super easy check, clean, walking distance to everything, and I really liked that there was parking big enough for my truck and cargo trailer. This is an older motel, so of course it has it's little foibles, but I really like that it's not cookie cutter."

"We spent three nights at the property and very much enjoyed our time there. It is a beautiful home located in a beautiful area. If you are interested in outdoor activities it is an ideal place as it offers easy and quick access to the mountains with almost endless roads for off-roading, hiking, or cycling. We highly recommend it."

"While the property is a bit "rough and rustic," we needed a comfy bed and a hot shower for an overnight when passing through town. It fit the bill. Have to give a shout out to manager Billy, who went out of his way to accommodate us and make sure that our stay was a pleasant one. Thanks, Billy."
