"This lodge is absolutely 💯 cut.. little old but very well kept. It’s not a huge place and cost is little higher but was and excellent stay.. Gail is the best, and we will be going back again."

"The Birchwood Lodge was a very nice hotel, clean and well kept. We were there for New Years Eve and I wanted a hotel close to where the cherry was going to drop. The Birchwood Lodge was walking distance to the Cherry Drop on December 31. As I checked out, I notified the desk agent that they should check the switches and light bulbs. I think some lights were burned out. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay! Very comfortable. "

"For an older lodge, this place is great. Seemingly recent updates to rooms. Great water views. **Bed was less than desireable, but i have a tempurpedic mattress at home so i am a bit spoiled. Very Hospitable. Dog friendly, no children under 12. Visited in off season so very quiet on the week nights. Door county is a unique place. "Staff was outstanding and treated us like family. Nice big parking lot. Beautiful setting, pool, hot tub and fire pit are wonderful amenities. Room decor is a bit dated but not a big deal to us as long as it’s clean, Our room smelled slightly like smoke when we first arrived, which was the only downside of the whole stay. Beds were comfy & room was clean. Would stay here again!"
