"This hotel could be good but disappointed in several ways, some of which could be improved. The location was good, handy to nearby major roads. Parking was very good. Check-in via the handy external kiosk demanded immediate full payment even though the room had been prepaid (this extra payment was manually refunded after the very helpful manager arrived at 5pm to staff reception). "The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. I never usually wrote reviews, especially but ones but the smoke was so bad if affected my breathing and I didn’t get much sleep at all. Not great for the kids either. All in...

"We were only at Hotel Saint Jean one night but it was lovely. Although there were some improvements underway it was clean and nothing was in our way. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The hotel was well located. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were able to get a 3 person room which is hard to find. Breakfast included some meats and cheeses, more than the common croissant and coffee. "
