"In kind of an industrial area at the edge of town more of a freeway stop than a destination. The staff was delightful, parking was convenient and free, the room was clean. This is not a non smoking hotel. The room smelled strongly of smoke and when we opened the window to get air it seemed that maybe workers from the place next door smoked all night there? "If you are arriving in Lausanne by train, the hotel is conveniently located between a couple of stops on metro line 2. I chose a double room rather than a single and therefore had a significantly larger room for very little additional money. The air conditioning didn't work and the fridge didn't keep anything cold.
