"This was a great property to stay at with friendly, helpful staff. Was very clean inside cabin. Close to railway station. This could pose a problem to someone sensitive to noise. For us - better the occasional train than the noise of traffic! 1 hour train trip and we were in Sydney. Loved it. Better than driving ourselves in. Very competitive rate for the area. "Everything ok if a budget stay suits, which it did for me. Room & bathroom were fine. Sadly my bedroom smelt of someone else’s b.o. Breakfast: marmalade in abundance! Other supplies were a little lacking tbh & the host sniffing the long life skim milk on my arrival probably wasn’t the best look. I found another little full cream but had long expired. Overall you probably get what you pay for, not great but not the worst either. "

"The historic character and ambiance was charming. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent food in the bistro. We did not stay in the main building but in a very small room at the back of the inn. The dated room did not have WIFI or a TV but it was clean, the shower was good and the room was quiet. Definitely needs new mattresses as you could feel the springs. All in all a good place for a short stay."
