"Lovely stay at The Red Lion. The apartment was delightful and the perfect place to stay before a day in Exeter. The pub is very dog friendly and our 2 pups were made to feel very welcome. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. I would definitely stay again and recommend the Red Lion to everyone. "

The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. "Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay "
