"There are some really bad reviews of this property - and it's easy to see why. So, so many things required maintenance or fixing that are just left as they are. In our room alone there was a broken shower head, broken shower support thing, broken lock, and a couple other smaller things. But the positives outweigh the negatives. Great breakfast, great location, and super friendly service all made up for the few inconveniences in the room. Plus the view was spectacular!"

"The location of the hotel is great, it has a view of the Roman place. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The negative thing is there is no satellite tv in the room. I will book again if I go that direction. "

"Ahmed at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. He allowed me and others to leave our luggage then after checkout and come back to grab our stuff a few hours later. That was very convenient since it allowed me to spend more time exploring the city and not have to head to the airport directly. Hotel room was very clean and had basic needs. "I turned up at the hotel (after a bus journey from Petra ) only to get some excuse from staff about maintenance work in my room!! Truth is, Zaman have a very old booking system and because of their location and price, get over booked. I was then sent by Zaman to their 'sister' hotel the Hotel Arabesque, in a completely different area of Amman. Zaman Ya Zaman, it is 2023!!!! Modernise!!! Zaman could have contacted me to tell me or cancelled my booking earlier...."

"The staff here are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and you can order omelette. Rooms are very basic but we didn’t pay for 5 star hotel. We had nice view of the amphitheater. It is quite noisy at night as it’s in a busy spot. Overall I think it was a pleasant stay"

"Al Midan Hotel is well located near the Roman Theater in Amman. It offers an included breakfast with sufficient options, coffee/tea available 24 hours, good wifi, limited but free parking in front of the hotel, and outstanding customer service. Although the property and rooms are rather dated, it is nonetheless an acceptable option for a budget hotel in Amman."
