"No sign of receptionist on check in keys left on counter. The room we were given for 2 had 5 beds. Very basic, outdated by 30 yrs in need of renovation and modernisation. No Wi-Fi in room, no hand towels, no tea coffee making facilities but did have a fridge. Food in restaurant tasty, breakfast chaotic and not fresh coffee from a machine. Not the best hotel has seen better days."

"This hotel was a lovely surprise. Set in its own grounds and set in a nice village, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The hotel is a pleasant mix of old and modern. The bedroom was larger than the normal chaîne hotels, and the restaurant was large and well furnished. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back again."

"Charming historic Coaching Hotel in the old part of St Omer near the centre and the Cathedral. Excellent hosts with good breakfast and an excellent restaurant. Off street parking and late night entrance available. The rooms were very clean with comfy beds, bathroom adequate with decent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The Hotel has great character but is in need of TLC plus no lift, lots of stairs. We had a great stay at a very reasonable price."

"I arrived at 7.30 pm after a long drive from the South of France to find the hotel locked up with nobody there at all. The bar and restaurant were both closed as well. There was a handwritten note on the door giving a telephone number. I phoned and was told that there was a side door and I was given a digicode to gain entry and a room number for me. "My stay in the area was neseccary because I had to deliver my dog to Calais the next day The hotel is good and the owners very friendly but the village is not really worth visiting unless you have a reason If you have to be nearby then it’s perfect Clean comfortable room good quality dinner and good wine list "
